OTC Industrial Technologies announced the addition of a new “Dispense Center of Excellence” at its campus in Louisville, Kentucky.

The 4,000-square-foot hub at OTC’s Tape Louisville site was developed to help manufacturers address a “critical challenge:” validating processes prior to production. It will provide access to manual, automated and robotic dispensing technologies through partnerships with Graco, Fanuc and others, along with a “cross-functional” team of engineering, R&D, tech support, sales reps and customer service personnel.

The facility will also help advance high-viscosity fluid dispensing, mixing, metering and automation technologies for industrial applications.

“The Dispense Center of Excellence represents a significant investment in our customers’ success,” OTC CEO Adam Gibbs said in a statement. “This is more than a lab, it’s a place where ideas are tested, processes are proven, and better outcomes are built before they ever reach the production floor.”

OTC will hold a grand opening event for the new facility on June 4.
