LGG Industrial announced Wednesday that it has completed a renovation and expansion of its branch serving eastern North Carolina.
The company said the project would bolster the Rocky Mount location’s inventory capacity, fabrication capabilities and service support. Its overhead crane, belt slitter and belt fabrication shop, meanwhile, would allow the distributor to provide “customized conveyor solutions,” as well.
The Rocky Mount branch is one of two LGG Industrial facilities in North Carolina, joining a branch in Charlotte. Company officials added that the location “plays a key role” in its more than five-decade strategic partnership with Continental.
The company is “actively” hiring for its service and operations staff in Rocky Mount, officials said.
“Rocky Mount is an important part of our long-term growth strategy, and this investment reflects how serious we are about supporting our customers in this region,” Mark Scott, the regional vice president and general manager of the company’s East region, said in a statement. “This expansion strengthens our capabilities and allows us to deliver reliable service, on time, with the level of support our customers count on every day.”
LGG Industrial is the no. 35 distributor on ID’s latest Big 50.
