Affiliated Distributors announced Monday that it has renamed its U.S. industrial division to reflect its expansion into the construction segment.
AD’s Industrial & Safety-U.S. division will instead be known as the “Industrial, Safety, and Construction” division. AD added construction distributors Professional Contractor Supply and C.F.C. Supply effective Jan. 1, and officials said that the division has long featured companies growing in adjacent markets.
“Over the years, we have been fortunate to attract strong independent distributors and suppliers successfully growing in the construction channel,” Jessica Yurgaitis, the chair of the ISC division’s board and the CEO of Industrial Supply Company Inc., said in the announcement. “The ISC name reflects who we are today and where we are going.”
Mike Carr will continue to serve as president of the renamed division.
