Wholesale MRO distributor ORS Nasco announced Friday that it has acquired a pair of fellow wholesalers in a bid to bolster its capabilities in power transmission and welding.
The company added suburban Nashville industrial and welding wholesaler Alliance Distribution Partners, as well as AD Member Supply, the warehousing division of its namesake buying group.
ORS Nasco CEO Kevin Short said in the announcement that the transactions would expand its product breadth — particularly in bearings, power transmission products and welding supplies — as well as its value-added solutions and supplier relationships.
“Together, these acquisitions deepen ORS Nasco’s power transmission and welding capabilities and increase density across key U.S. industrial markets,” Short said. “We look forward to partnering with their teams to drive continued growth.”
AD, meanwhile, said that the deal would enable the distributors in its bearing and power transmission division to buy from “a pure national wholesaler,” as well as provide them with access to a broader product assortment and more than 200 professional sellers. The staff at the segment's Indianapolis warehouse will join ORS Nasco, officials added, which “shares AD’s values and commitment to service.”
Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. ORS Nasco has now completed four acquisitions since it was bought by private equity firm Wynnchurch Capital in mid-2024.
