Fastenal Reports a More than 13% Jump in February Sales

Sales were up across all geographies, end markets and customer segments.

Fastenal on Thursday said that its February sales were up 13.3% compared to the second month of 2024.

The company reported monthly net sales of $710.6 million, up from $627.1 million last February. Sales were up across all geographies, end markets and customer segments; in particular, sales to heavy manufacturing and other manufacturing categories — the majority of Fastenal’s sales — rose by 14.9% and 10.2%, respectively, while non-residential construction sales jumped by nearly 20%.

Sales were up by more than 13% in both its OEM and MRO categories, and Fastenal posted 12.7% sales growth in the U.S., home to nearly 83% of its overall monthly revenue. Sales also increased in Canada and Mexico combined by 14.4%, and in other foreign markets by 25.5%.

Fastenal also reported a double-digit year-over-year increase in the first month of the year, as well as an 11.1% increase in its latest fiscal quarter.

The Minnesota fastener and industrial supply distributor ranked at no. 4 on ID’s most recent Big 50.
