Industrial gas and welding supply distributor Meritus Gas Partners announced Monday that its Texas subsidiary has acquired a welding distributor outside Fort Worth.
Meritus Texas officially added the assets of Greens Welding Supply Inc. on Saturday, Meritus officials said. The Granbury, Texas, company provides industrial gases, welding equipment and safety supplies to customers across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"The acquisition supports Meritus Texas' continued growth strategy and commitment to delivering dependable service, expanded product availability and local expertise to customers across Texas," Meritus Texas President Rodney Wray said in a statement.
Meritus Texas operates 17 branches across the Lone Star State centered in the Dallas and Houston areas. Wray said the Granbury location will be the subsidiary’s ninth branch in the Metroplex.
