Sterling Heights, MI-based Macomb Group has announced the acquisition of Matthews, NC-based Mechanical Supply Company, which distributors pipes, valves, and fittings to industrial and commercial customers.
MSC adds more than 50 employees to Macomb, which now has 19 locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Pennslyvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
"We’ve been looking for the right opportunity in the southeast for a number of years and see Mechanical Supply as having many of the same qualities as our own organization – putting customers and service first," said Bill McGivern, CEO of The Macomb Group, in a release.
