WHEELING, IL — DGI Supply, a DoAll Company and No. 31 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List, announced Monday that it has agreed to acquire East Metro Supply of Monroe, NC. The acquisition is scheduled to close May 4.

Monroe is located 35 miles southwest of Charlotte. DGI said it plans to consolidate its current Charlotte location – which includes local inventory and a customer service team – with the East Metro team shortly after the May 4 acquisition closing.
Henricks added “the combined inventory will improve service levels and DGI’s broader product offering, business systems and automated procurement solutions will strengthen East Metro’s value proposition. We anticipate that the combination of our teams will create an impressive presence in the Charlotte market.”
Lane Baucom, President of East Metro will remain with the company and will join DGI in a sales leadership role.
East Metro Supply is a specialty tool and full line industrial distributor serving the Southeast since 1981.
